Hannah Starkey Photographs – In Pictures

Hannah Starkey, does that name ring a bell? It sure does. She is the British photographer known for special women stage settings in city environments.

The photographer born in Belfast and studied photography at the Napier University and Royal College of Art, London. For more than 20 years, her artfully constructed portraits have caught the eye of everyday female experience. Among many things, Hannah Starkey said of her work, ‘I wanted to create a space for women without judgment’
